Brett Favre and staying away

Last week was all about trade.
 
Not the trade you’re thinking of. I’m talking Manny Ramirez going to Los Angeles from Boston, Ken Griffey, Jr peddled from Cincinnati to the Chicago White Sox, and  among many others. And Brett Favre was offered $20 million to stay retired. I myself have been offered money to stay many times and usually it works…..
 
This week, focus is turning to the Beijing where everyone’s focused on the swimsuits that the Americans are wearing (and the face masks that everyone is wearing). Back home in the states, we have pre-season NFL starting, US Open tune-up events, the PGA championships starting tomorrow, Thursday the 6th, and locally at Rehoboth beach we have the Beach Bowl, with over 20 flag football aficionados descending for a beach based tournament. Have fun, guys!
 
For flag football there’s the beach. For everything else, there’s Mastercard….er, Nellies!
